Y4 History Visitor - Ancient Egypt 08.11.22
Our Year 4 historians have enjoyed an exciting introduction to this half term’s topic- Ancient Egyptians.
This morning, we were visited by The History Man- Adrian Warrell. Adrian shared his extensive knowledge and covered many key areas of Egyptian life which enabled us to understand where the ancient Egyptian civilisation was located and why it lasted for so long.
In the hall, we loved the hands on activities which covered the importance of the River Nile, Grinding the precious crops to make flour, the Egyptian writing system, Egyptian games and analysing artefacts.
We concluded the session, in class, handling replicas of artefacts.
